  1. Write a reverse harem! DO IT! 😀 It’s not a trope I seek out but I understand the appeal and I’ve found a couple of pretty good authors whose works I enjoy. I’d be curious to see what you would come up with.

      1. Auryn Hadley and Kathryn Moon. Though they’re not straight reverse harems since the male characters may have relationships with each other. I guess they’re more polyamorous?

Hadley’s The Dark Orchid trilogy was pretty neat. Power of Lies was the first book I read by her. You have a mage whose magic is fueled by lust and his name is The Jackal. What’s not to love? I read Moon’s Inheritance of Hunger trilogy and liked it. The Queen’s Line is the first book. More sex-fueled magic. Notice a trend? 😉 They both deal with the conflicted feelings and emotions of the characters regarding these complicated relationships. I think Moon’s take is lighter and Hadley gets more into the nitty-gritty which was a bit too much for me at times. I’ve read some more of their stuff but these were the series that caught my attention initially.

Laurel K. Hamilton’s Merry Gentry books were probably my first introduction into RH back in college (more sex-fueled magic – I am sadly predictable!). I loved them at the time though the sex scenes were definitely games of Twister but it seems the series kinda went off the rails. I didn’t have the heart to read the last one since a favorite got killed off-page.

        1. Thanks! I’ll check those out 😀

I liked those LKH books too, until they went totally off the rails. I must’ve bailed before the fave got killed. I think the gnome did me in….

          1. Not too many things squick me out, but sex with the vag-high gnome got me
