I would say Shift is a little bit of a departure from your other books in the series because the heroines are usually the outsiders. Even if Andy, Ami, and Ursula are part-Tala, they didn’t grow up in that culture. Zynda is fully Tala and we finally get to see what goes on in the head of an actual shapeshifter. How she views the mossbacks and their world. Also the cover is so pretty and dreamy. Marskal is also dreamy if you like the steadfast boyfriend that takes very good care of you. 😉
