Anytime I see those “how to get rich quick” books, I always think:
Step 1: Write a “how to get rich quick” book
Step 2: Profit!
I once asked two artists how they got to where they are now and what advice would they give. One said do the work and be willing to toil in obscurity for a decade before getting any sort of recognition. The other shrugged awkwardly and said he knew a guy. So much of success is sheer dumb luck but saying that wouldn’t sell well.
Jeffe, may her memory be a blessing. Hugs.
Thank you! She was a bright light.
Jan sounded like a lovely person.

She really was. I’m glad I got that across.
So much this on the get rich quick stuff!
Those are two really excellent answers. The toil in obscurity for a decade is a common tale.
