We're doing some exciting (for us) landscaping work. I'm also chatting about more egregious editing fouls and how self-publishing authors should be careful of predatory practices.

  1. The cut scenes could make a fine newsletter addition. I’m just saying 😉

You can just add a notation something like Nalini does “This is from an early draft and will no longer fit perfectly into the book’s timeline. Enjoy it as an outtake.”

We will need after pictures of the steps. It’s difficult to photograph changes in elevation but the picture makes sense with the explanation.

  2. I’m fine with reading outtakes via the newsletter too, fyi 😉

I’ve been trying to make it to more of those Nebulas meetings, but I’ve missed a lot of them. I set an extra alarm to make sure I wouldn’t miss yours 🙂

I suspect there’s more predators making money off authors via self-publishing services/vanity publishing than there are self-publishers making money.
