  1. I have the opposite approach. I always feel terrible and brain dead for several hours after waking up, and its only at the end of the day/late at night that I can think clearly and really get things done. So, I go through email, or similar things, while eating breakfast (thought I put off anything hard).

I do put my phone on “do not disturb” when I’m sleeping though (which is ~6am-noon if i’m obeying my circadian rhythms), and a lot of people call or text during the time I’m still asleep. I think my mom is the only one that gets angry when I don’t answer (no matter how many times I’ve told her that I won’t be awake before noon if I have a choice).

I think you’re pretty good at being constructive/using disclaimers with your suggestions, but I’ve certainly seen others who were not as considerate.

    1. I’m glad to hear that my constructive efforts and disclaimers come through. And your circadian cycle is a good example of that – it’s most important to discover YOUR best schedule and process and optimize that.
