Just last week I unfollowed an author and unsubscribed from her newsletter because she announced she had used “AI” to make an audiobook of one of her works and had posted it to YouTube. I get that hiring a narrator is pricy, but I just can’t with creatives taking work away from other creators.
Ugh! It’s amazing to me that writers, other creatives, can justify this stuff to themselves. Such shitty behavior. Good for you for unfollowing!
