I strongly internalized the statement “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and trained myself to not show emotion for many years. Later, I finally learned to cry again (physically), and now I cry super-easy.
I constantly notice that I get homonyms wrong. I *know* the right one, but it just comes out wrong and as soon as I see it I know it’s wrong (which, if it’s on slack/discord is always just *after* I’ve hit enter, so I can feel extra self-conscious about it). There are some other weird word combos that switch for some reason in my head, like orange and green. These aren’t words I should be messing up! Argh.
Isn’t the homonym thing weird???
so much on “big girls don’t cry” – ugh!
