I don’t really believe in writer’s block either. I feel like most of the people who use it as an excuse are more in love with the romantic idea of writing than the actuality of it, and believe it should be some sort of easy process where words just flow magically from the author to the bookstore with little effort. So anytime that isn’t happening, it’s “writer’s block” (accompanied by pleas for sympathy).
