Why I don't do NaNoWriMo - but why I think you should, and some advice on how. I'm giving some advice on how to "train" for NaNoWriMo and keep yourself from burning out before you finish. Also thoughts on competition and keeping to your line.

I absolutely love what you say about NaNoWriMo being a habit-builder…that’s pretty much the only reason I *do* participate.
So glad you agree – and find it useful!
Totally agree on your opinion on competition. ?
This is why we get along so well
I’m sort of doing Nano, but it’s on my own terms, and if my terms means that my 30 days is 11/12-12/11, and I’m working on several short stories instead of a novel, then so be it. *shrug* The very first time I did Nano, I accidentally did it on the wrong month (this was before they had a website and stuff), so I guess i’ve always been a Nano-rebel.
Ha! I love that you’re a Nano-rebel. Long live the rebellion!
