So the guy who was snoring in the room next door woke up early and threw this together before breakfast? Thumbs DOWN. Really sad. My grandson could do a better job. Happy Travel to you!
Also? I think even had it been put together with care, the ornaments are meant for a much larger tree.
Poor little Charlie Brown tree…
Massive FAIL!
But, much can be forgiven, depending on what’s in the presents….
Thumbs up. I think that whoever was doing it was trying to do something creative and nontraditional, which is often a really, really good thing around the holidays. Bring on the funk!
Sad, but likely true, Karin!
ooh, interesting theory. I’m concocting a plan to go down early and reconstruct according to my own vision….
You’re right! It *is* a poor little Charlie Brown tree, swaddled in overly funky, much too large ornaments! Like a 8 year old, wearing her 12 year old cousin’s oversized hip-hop outfits.
I’m betting empty on those. Shall I go open them?
Ah, Laura – ever the ray of sunshine. It is true that they’re going for creative in a not-very-creative place.
Aww poor tree. It’s all overloaded and pitiful looking. That’s fine for someone’s home. Hell, my tree ain’t House Beautiful. (Then again, neither is my house.) But for a hotel lobby? Unprofessional. I think they made a disgruntled employee put it up.
I hate to be negative, but — I’m going to go w down. The colors aren’t bad, but it looks like a grumpy employee just tossed on the ornaments…

That’s two votes for disgruntled employee!
