I’m very aware that having to make decisions is a problem for both things like what to eat for dinner as well what aspect of writing to work on, but it had not occurred to me that it would impede the actual story-making. That’s an interesting thing to consider. I know Holly Lisle goes to extreme lengths so she doesn’t even have to decide on clothes to wear (they’re all basically the same), but she phrased it as more of a way to save time than mental spoons.
Mental spoons are real!
